At Scan4Print (scan4print.in), protecting the privacy and confidentiality of your personal documents (such as Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, academic certificates, and official PDFs) is our core mission. Unlike traditional cyber cafes where customers must share personal files over public WhatsApp Web or email, Scan4Print processes files through an isolated, encrypted self-service pipeline.

1. Information We Collect

Uploaded Print Files: PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG files temporarily uploaded by you solely for executing your print job.
Order & Transaction Data: Order ID, page count, print settings, payment transaction reference ID, timestamp, and basic device/IP logs for fraud prevention and order tracking.
Optional Contact Info: Customer name, mobile number, or email address (only when provided for payment receipts, order tracking, or support tickets).

2. Document Handling & Automatic File Deletion

Uploaded files are stored in a restricted server directory (protected against public web indexing) and transmitted only to the paired printer agent of the specific shop selected by you.
Automatic Cleanup: Uploaded documents and temporary print files are automatically purged from our servers after printing / within 24 hours via our automated retention cleanup system.
We never sell, rent, publicly share, or use customer documents for advertising or third-party data mining.

3. Payment Security

All online payments on Scan4Print are handled by certified, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway partners (such as Cashfree, Razorpay, PayU, or UPI Gateways). Scan4Print does not store your credit/debit card numbers, CVV, net-banking passwords, or UPI PINs on its servers.

4. Cookies & Session Data

We use essential HTTP-only session cookies solely to maintain your active upload session, selected shop code, and print preferences from Step 1 (Upload) through Step 4 (Print Completion).
